About Pons (PONS)
Pons (ponsfamily.com) is a non-custodial token launchpad built exclusively for Robinhood Chain (an Arbitrum-powered Ethereum L2). Anyone with a wallet can deploy a fixed-supply meme coin (typically 1 billion tokens) and its trading market in a single transaction. The platform never takes custody of user funds—all launches, buys, and sells are signed and executed directly from the user’s own wallet.
Tokens initially trade on an automated bonding curve priced against ETH (or WETH). The price rises as buyers enter and falls as sellers exit, based purely on how much of the supply has been purchased. There are no pre-allocated creator tokens at launch, which reduces insider accumulation risk. Once a token reaches the graduation threshold (around 4.2 ETH in paired liquidity), it migrates into a permanently locked Uniswap liquidity pool (V3 in earlier versions, V4 with a custom hook in V2), with no unlock or withdrawal path.
Trading fees are split between the token creator and the protocol (commonly 70/30 for current launches, 90/10 for legacy ones). The majority of the protocol’s share is used for automated buybacks of the native $PONS token (often via TWAP and routed toward burns), while a smaller portion covers infrastructure and team costs. This design tightly links launch activity on the platform back to the $PONS token itself.
